Introduction to GIS & GPS

This course is a four-day in-person boot camp to get attendees started in current GIS (ESRI) and GPS data collection. This course is designed around and meant for Utility Professionals who work for Municipal or Government entities. GPS for Purchase is if elected by the entity. A form will be provided following sign up for interest. Attendees are asked to sign up for an ArcGIS Online 21-day trial. Link provided after registration. Attendees are required to provide or bring their own laptops.

Description

Our interactive training session provides immersive, hands-on experiences that equip participants with the skills to operate GIS on computers and mobile devices successfully.

Additionally, we offer extensive field practice using GPS units, which can be provided through our program or purchased by attendees, allowing them to apply their newfound knowledge in real-world scenarios.

By combining theoretical instruction with practical exercises, we ensure that attendees are equipped with the introduction needed to unlock the full potential of their GIS technology.
