Introduction to ArcGIS Pro
ArcGIS Pro is a powerful and highly capable platform. Many organizations own it without fully realizing its potential for updating, enhancing, and creating dynamic datasets. From producing map books to generating label class series for highways, local streets, and private roads, ArcGIS Pro enables far more than most users expect.
Description
This course, like our Introduction to GIS & GPS, is not for the faint of heart. It’s a hands-on, in-depth exploration of the software, focused on understanding each component and building muscle memory through repetition. Real-world workflows—tracking vessels at sea, monitoring highway fleets, updating municipal maps, or managing hydrant flushing—are developed in ArcGIS Pro and carried into ArcGIS Online, where they become part of daily, operational use.
Prerequisites
Subscription to ArcGIS Online/Pro.
Preferred but not required: Attended Introduction to GIS & GPS.
